WHAT IS A BLACKBOARD CABARET?

The Blackboard Cabaret is an opportunity to perform (and watch performances) in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Small group pieces and solos from budding and experienced dancers and musicians are welcome.

This is a family-friendly event - children are welcome to attend. Dancers, musicians and admirers are all encouraged to come along to help form a supportive audience. Make a table with family and friends - bring along some snacks and drinks, and make a night of it! There will be games and social dancing between performances for those who want to get involved!

If you're keen to perform, put your name on the blackboard when you arrive. To avoid potential issues with music, you can send through an audio file to Sam beforehand (before the 20th January for the Summer Cabaret).

10min blocks of practice/staging time are available for performers from 5:30-6:30pm. You will need to book this in by sending a message.
