- Choreography Theory (WORKSHOP FULL)
Samina Amar
A lot of bellydance choreography comes from simply responding to the music. A little like a recorded improvisation, we often allow the music to take us where we need to go, and stop there.
In this workshop, you'll learn different ways to approach the choreographic process, and take your choreographies to the next level. You'll look at the theory behind some of your choices in dance making, and then learn how to consciously apply those theories to create solo and group choreographies that will really "wow" your audiences.
Notes will be provided. Bring a pen/pencil.
No choreographic experience required. Assumed Knowledge: Intermediate in any style.
