Our school is proudly LBGTIQA+ inclusive. Dancers of all sexualities and gender presentations are welcome in our classes.
Our school welcomes students of differing abilities who are interested in, and excited about learning, bellydance.

Conform to sound business practices and deal honestly with money, information and people.

Actively encourage support from families, parents and partners of students.

Foster a love of dance in every variety.

Teach general dance and movement concepts in addition to bellydance technique.

Participate in events supporting our local communities through performance and donations where possible.

To PROVIDE A SAFE DANCING ENVIRONMENT we ensure that....

Our facilities have suitable flooring and conform with minimum safety and space requirements.

Students are required to be attired in appropriate dancewear to avoid possible injury and so that instructors can easily correct alignment and ensure movements are being correctly executed.

All movement and choreography is anatomically safe for students.

Our class sizes are appropriate to the levels and techniques being taught.

Our classes are formed by age-group and standard where possible.

We USE EFFECTIVE, SAFE, ADEQUATE & ENCOURAGING TEACHING METHODS by....

Providing clear objectives for students and consistently delivering clear and well structured lessons.

Ensuring instructors have the experience and knowledge required to teach their classes and continue to seek further knowledge and skills.

Being professional, punctual, responsible and reliable.

Modifying movements and methods for students challenged by a physical anomaly or a learning difficulty.

Ensuring all instructors hold the ACT Working with Vulnerable People card.
